BehindtheBrand.Pro is a woman-owned independent business based in Portland, Oregon! I’m Batya; I’m a wife & mother of two, and a wedding & event content creator, videographer, photographer, and memory maker!

After many years of working as a content creator and social media manager for nonprofits and companies, I discovered my love of documenting love stories when I met and married my husband ! After tying the knot, I discovered my true passion is capturing memories for couples on their biggest day - I started capturing content for weddings too instead of only businesses; and this is where that journey has lead me!

I like to say that I take having fun seriously; photos and videos are how life’s biggest moments will be remembered.

My biggest belief is that every couple is unique, and their love story deserves telling. It is a big deal when soulmates find each other; a marriage is not a trivial thing, and each one deserves to be remembered in as delicate and careful a manner as all the love that goes into a lifelong partnership. I want to know what inside jokes you have with your betrothed, the surprises in the ceremony, or any creative flair you’ve put into your day - it is my favorite thing in the world to make sure a couples biggest day is as special as it deserves.

Seriously… Not to be weird, but this is my thing. Some little girls grow up planning their wedding…. I grew up taking pictures of my Barbie’s weddings.

When I’m not editing (honestly, lol) , I am also usually found drinking coffee and listening to showtunes (probably with my kids or my man!)
